As part of a coordination meeting with the manager of the European Region of the Global TB Caucus, cooperation plans for the current year were discussed.
Thus, among the priorities in the cooperation between the civil society and the international network of parliamentarians, the following issues were identified:
• implementation in countries of the provisions of the Political Declaration on TB,
• advocacy for access to TB drugs in European countries,
• facilitating the launch of the Multisectoral Accountability Framework to end TB in countries.
In addition, it was agreed with Alesya Matusevich to conduct regular coordination meetings with representatives of communities and CSOs from Western Europe and the EECA region to update current needs at the national level. These online meetings will help highlight the priority areas for countries where the support of parliamentarians is important and in demand.
