The final quarterly TBEC Board meeting of the year took place online on 4 December. As usual, Secretariat representatives presented the management accounts as of December 2025 and outlined the key plans for the coming year.
Board members held an in-depth discussion on potential funding opportunities and resource mobilization for the Coalition’s activities in 2026, reviewing several concrete proposals.
In addition, those Board members who attended the Union World Conference reflected on the conference’s priority themes and discussed how these insights could inform TBEC’s future work, including strengthening the role and engagement of TB-communities and civil society organizations in the TB response.
To conclude the meeting, Board members agreed on the schedule of quarterly Board meetings for next year, as well as the two biannual meetings of the TBEC Oversight Advisory Committee.
