TBEC supported the international social media information campaign initiated by the StopTB Partnership, which focuses on children and young people calling for a future without TB.
The campaign, aligned with the UN High-Level Meeting on TB, aimed to bring the attention of world leaders to the younger generation and their need to live in a world free from tuberculosis.
Over the course of three weeks in September, 10 campaign messages, voiced by children and grandchildren of our staff and Board members, called on Heads of States and Governments to participate in the UN HLM on TB and to support a strong and ambitious commitment to ending TB.
We are also grateful to our partners in the region who conducted similar information campaigns in their countries, targeting national leaders and decision-makers.
